In the history of our country, has there ever been a president like Donald Trump who set such a poor example for our young people?

Children are scolded at home and in school for name-calling and dishonesty and yet, almost daily, Trump uses inappropriate words to refer to his political opponents, to anyone who disagrees with him and to news reporters. And it’s likely no president has lied so often about so many things. Trump’s name-calling and lies have become so routine that they no longer draw the attention or condemnation that they should.

To ignore it is to accept it. The people of this country should demand better behavior from our president and from other elected officials.
