A 37-year-old Auburn man was arrested after he told officers that he killed his wife.
According to Auburn Police Department spokesperson Kolby Crossley, at 7:42 a.m. Nov. 23, the Auburn man called police and reported that he had killed his 43-year-old wife. Crossley said police responded to the scene and that the man was taken into custody without incident.
According to the King County Medical Examiner’s decedents list, the woman who died was Geety Sadat. The cause of death was reported as asphyxiation, manual strangulation, her manner of death was homicide, and the location was a residence.
Crossley said that the man was booked into jail and charged with first-degree murder.
Crossley said that three children were present in the home, but they did not witness the murder. Crossley said
