LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The 23-year-old grandson of a former Jeffersontown mayor was arrested for his sixth DUI in two years on Tuesday after police found him asleep behind the wheel.
According to an arrest slip, Brock Ruckriegel, the grandson of the late, long-time Jeffersontown mayor Daniel Ruckriegel, was found by Louisville Metro Police after an officer responded to a report of a man who had parked a white Lamborghini and fallen asleep at the wheel with the car still running.
The responding officer found Ruckriegel asleep in the vehicle with an open alcohol container in the passenger seat. The officer also says they observed that the 23-year-old was twitching in his sleep and appeared to be having trouble breathing.
