It's the season of giving, and one local duo is using the power of social media to make a difference.

You may have seen it on your TikTok feed. It's as simple as some cash in a little red envelope, and it has community members searching for the prize. It's called the Omaha Money Hunt, and it's one couple's way of helping their neighbors, one envelope at a time.

"We were scrolling on TikTok one night, and we had seen that people were doing it in other states, and he was like, man, I want to start this year in Omaha," the creators of the Omaha Money Hunt said. "So he jumped on it, ordered the envelopes, came up with this whole idea. And basically, that night we built out the TikTok page, kind of did all the marketing behind the scenes for it. And here we are."
