RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- When it comes to the journey, for Thanksgiving , it's about the destination and who you get to spend the holiday with.

"Just hanging out with family, playing cards, a few sips here and there, football, that's it," says Teresa Lucas, flying into Raleigh to spend Thanksgiving with family.

Passengers say it was smooth sailing into RDU the day before Thanksgiving .

But as we head into the holiday travel season, comments from the Secretary of Transportation are generating a lot of conversation.

"Just maybe dressing with some respect, whether it's a pair of jeans and a decent shirt, I would encourage people to dress a little to dress and maybe act a little better. I would encourage people not to wear slippers and pajamas at the airport," the Secretary of Transpor
