GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Families in Green Bay rang in the holiday season on Wednesday with the first-ever “Fez-tival of Trees”.
The trees are all sponsored by local businesses, families, and organizations, with each one tasked with designing a themed tree for the event and placing hundreds to even thousands of dollars’ worth of unwrapped gifts underneath it.
Those trees, decorations, and gifts will then be auctioned off to a family in need.
The money raised goes towards keeping the lights on at Beja Shriners and covering transportation costs for local patients seeking care at Shriners Children’s hospitals in Chicago and the Twin Cities.
