11/26 Update:

The Cherokee County Coroner's Office said a man died at a hospital, the day after he was shot.

The coroner said Robert Victor Dillard III, 23, was shot Tuesday afternoon inside an apartment at Limestone Courts on North Limestone Street.

Investigators said Dillard was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound to the head and died Wednesday afternoon.

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at an apartment complex in Gaffney, South Carolina, on Tuesday.

At 3:17 p.m., the Gaffney Police Department said officers are on the scene of a shooting at Limestone Courts on North Limestone Street.
