HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A street artist from Kauai joined an artist from Brazil who’s on a mission to create 101 massive wave murals around the world.

Caleb Aero teamed up with Hilton Alves this past weekend to finish Wave number 45 on Washington Boulevard in Central Los Angeles.

“We’re creating a beautiful production along with so many other artists that are collaborating,” Aero said. “I hope you guys enjoy it.”

The 8-foot-tall, 70-foot-long masterpiece took about seven hours to finish and was part of an international street art and graffiti event called ‘Meeting of Styles’.

“I’m happy to paint number 45 in L.A. in collaboration with another Hawaiian artist, Caleb, and now people in Los Angeles can enjoy some perfect waves,” Alves said.
