Two civilians and a U.S. Navy man are facing felony charges after they were caught by undercover law enforcement officers allegedly trying to pay children for sex, according to the state Department of the Attorney General.
The 29th iteration of Operation Keiki Shield, an ongoing county, state and federal initiative aimed at combating internet-facilitated sex crimes against children, was executed statewide Nov. 7-9.
Jackson Tili, 26, Alexander Delooze, 30, and Kevin Kenichi Diaz, 41, were arrested and charged after allegedly “soliciting individuals they believed to be children for sex and then taking substantial steps” to meet the children to engage in “criminal sexual acts with them,” according to a news release from the state Department of the Attorney General.
Tili was charged Nov. 1
