BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Whether you’re celebrating in Burlington or Brattleboro, there are lots of free Thanksgiving meals to be had across the map.

Chittenden County offers the most, but there’s a healthy dose scattered around the state.

The Newport Elk Lodge up in Orleans County will host a Thanksgiving meal.

In Caledonia County, the Darling Inn, United Community Church, and Red Can offer meals starting this morning.

Next door in Washington County, the Community Table will serve lunch at 11:30.

For people local to Barre, Gusto’s bar is offering free Thanksgiving meals. They’ll be offering dine-in and take-out meals from 11 to 2. While the meal is free, they are taking donations to benefit Christmas for kids, a local program that provides gift assistance for families in Barre City.
