A Spandau Ballet icon has reportedly had to schedule his concerts around a "desperately needed operation" as he opened up about a painful health issue. In 2023, Tony Hadley , who shot to fame as the lead singer of the new wave band in the 1980s, reportedly had to pull out of a festival after suffering what he described as a "serious fall" during a trip to Italy.
As a result, he sustained a knee injury and underwent "major" surgery. He was also told to "minimise all travel" in an effort to avoid "complications". Indeed, he shared further details about his injury with Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer during an appearance on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch in February the following year.
