BOWLING GREEN — The Ohio Soybean Council says it wants to support first responders and promote sustainability at the same time.
To accomplish that goal, the council is aiming to donate Goodyear soybean oil tires to sheriff’s offices in counties throughout the state, said Julia Brown, director of communications.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office was one of them, receiving a set of Goodyear Eagle Enforcer All Weather tires made from soybean oil as opposed to petroleum as part of that campaign of support and sustainability.
