ATLANTA — Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock has called for the immediate firing of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

RFK Jr., the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services, caused outrage among health experts nationwide this week after the nation's top public health agency changed its website to contradict scientific conclusion that vaccines do not cause autism.

The Associated Press reported on Saturday that Dr. Daniel Jernigan, who resigned from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in August, said that Kennedy seems to be "going from evidence-based decision making to decision-based evidence making."

It was just the latest example of the Trump administration's challenge to already established science.
