The latest drought monitor for ENC shows most of the area with no change for this week’s update. Most of the WITN viewing area is either highlighted in a moderate or abnormally dry condition as of Thursday, November 27th.

The previous update showed most of Eastern NC with no change for the week of November 20th.

We will see a few cold and dry days until the start of next week, as a cold front will usher in rain for Monday night through Tuesday. Most of the rain will be the heaviest on Tuesday, helping the ongoing drought spell.
