Jeremy Sumpter, the former teen star of the 2003 live-action remake of Peter Pan - and he may have been your childhood crush - is set to return to the big screen two decades on alongside none other than Wendy Darling, aka played by Rachel Hurd-Wood.
The pair were just 14 and 13 when they starred as Peter and Wendy in Universal’s 2003 hit and played young love interests. Now they're set to return, as love interests of course, in a rom-com that's also set to mark Sumpter’s directorial debut.
The film is based on a true story and follows “a devoted horse enthusiast” played by Hurd-Wood, and Sumpter’s character, a failed stock market trader, who deplete their savings to run after a dream in Mexico.
