Bristol stabbing: 'This violence has no place in our community' View Image

A Bristol councillor has described the latest stabbing in the city as "deeply concerning". A man was stabbed on Ashley Road at around 5.30am on Saturday, November 22. The victim suffered “puncture-like wounds” and has since been discharged from hospital .

It is the latest incident of knife crime in the Bristol area, just days after a separate stabbing outside McDonald's in Filton.

Green Party councillor for Ashley ward Abdul Malik has spoken out about the latest incident. He said: "I’m deeply concerned by the early‐morning assault in St Pauls in which a man was in hospital with serious, though stable, injuries.
