The two National Guard members who were shot in Washington DC, have been named and pictured. They are 20-year-old Specialist Sarah Beckstrom and 24-year-old Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe.

The pair were rushed to hospital in critical condition following Wednesday afternoon's shooting , according to Jeanine Pirro, the US attorney for the District of Columbia, who provided an update on Thursday (November 27)

Pirro revealed that the suspect, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, is alleged to have driven across the country to carry out an "ambush-style" attack using a. 357 Smith
