A freighter has run aground in the Detroit River on Thanksgiving Day and tug boats are now next to it.

According to Marine Traffic, the freighter is the Robert S. Pierson, and it stopped this morning.

It's a 630-foot bulk carrier vessel, according to Marine Traffic.
