Students at a university in Coventry are still unable to go back to their halls of residence a week after a fire broke out.
The blaze at the Arthur Vick Residence block at the University of Warwick on the outskirts of the city broke out late on Wednesday night (November 19).
Students were evacuated at the time and today, the university has confirmed they are continuing to support those affected.
The fire sparked a large emergency services response with firefighters from Canley , Coventry , Binley , Foleshill , Hay Mills and Solihull in attendance. A spokesman for the fire service later confirmed the blaze started in a kitchen on the second floor of the three-storey residential block.
Luckily, no one was injured.
