TikTok chef Tineke "Tini" Younger is sharing a heartbreaking development in her pregnancy journey.

The TikTok star announced on Facebook and TikTok Wednesday, Nov. 26, that one of her twin babies did not survive before making it to full term.

"This isn't the post I ever thought I would share," she wrote. "Unfortunately earlier this week we lost our sweet girl Arya (Baby A)."

She continued: "We made it to almost 36 weeks we were so close to being done and getting the girls to term but I had a placenta abruption and we lost our sweet girl. Her twin sister is doing really good and breathing on her own."

Placental abruption is an uncommon yet serious complication of pregnancy, according to the Mayo Clinic. "Placental abruption occurs when the placenta partly or completely separates from the inner wall of the uterus before delivery," which can "decrease or block the baby's supply of oxygen and nutrients and cause heavy bleeding in the mother," the clinic said.

Younger shared black-and-white photos of her and husband Antoine Wright Jr. holding the baby, bundled up in a blanket.

"They both are so beautiful and Arya will always be celebrated, her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister. I will be taking a break, not sure for how long but I promise I will be back," she concluded the post. "I love you guys"

Fans flooded the comments with messages of support. "As a twinless twin, thank you for promising to keep your daughters [sic] memory alive," one user wrote. "We never talk about my brother and its [sic] always made thinking of him a bit harder."

"Jersey Shore" star Jenni "JWoww" Farley wrote, "I don't know what to say... I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss."

Rapper Latto commented with a broken heart emoji, "Nooo," adding, "so sorry tini I prayed hard for u & ur family's strength."

Younger and Wright announced their pregnancy with twins in June.

"2 sous chefs on the way," Younger wrote on Instagram, sharing a photo of the ultrasound and two sous chef baby onesies.

She's chronicled her pregnancy journey through her cooking videos on TikTok, making recipes based around foods that matched the size of the twins at the time: She made apple crisp when they were the size of an apple, and zucchini bread when the twins were the size of a zucchini.
