SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - Four people have died in a multi-vehicle crash on US Highway 90 east of 87th Drive in Suwannee County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash reportedly happened at about 9:50 p.m. Tuesday and involved three vehicles. A 76-year-old Lake City woman was driving a sedan with an 8-year-old and a 6-year-old girl and all were pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said in a Wednesday night press release that a 33-year-old Live Oak man driving a pickup truck, “for circumstances still to be determined,” crossed the center lane of US 90 and started driving the wrong way. The truck then struck the front of the woman’s sedan.
