A fast food chain known for its chicken tenders is opening a new location in Worcester next month.
Raising Cane’s will open its newest restaurant at 494 Lincoln St. on Dec. 16, according to the company’s website. A ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening will take place at 9 a.m. that day, according to an email from the company. The operating hours for the Raising Cane’s are not posted on the website.
Founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1996, Raising Cane’s serves chicken fingers as its main menu item. The restaurant also offers crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and a sauce known as Cane’s Sauce.
Raising Cane’s currently has nine locations in Massachusetts: three in Boston and one in Saugus, Framingham, Medford, Marlborough, Methuen and Seekonk, according to its website .
