A man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after falling from a block of flats. Another man was arrested on suspicion of assault after the incident in West Yorkshire this morning (November 27).
Cops were called to Tower Hill, Sowerby Bridge, to reports of a man who had "fallen from height" shortly after 10am on Thursday. Witnesses posted on Facebook that they saw a Yorkshire Air Ambulance hovering over the scene. A large police cordon has been erected blocking the entrance to a block of flats.
A forensics team is believed to be focusing its efforts on the 8th and 9th floors of the Houghton Towers building.
West Yorkshire Police said a 25-year-old man remains in hospital with serious injuries, while a 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault
