First road win of season targeted in Regional 1 North West

Derby's Fred Chell was one of the try scorers in the draw against Manchester.

DERBY aim to carry on from where they left off in the second half against Manchester last weekend when they travel to face Bowdon in Regional 1 North West on Saturday (2.15pm).

After trailing 24-3 at half-time at home against Manchester, Derby hit back to draw 24-24 and even had a chance to win at the end.

Nathan Bevan-Brown, Fred Chell and Archie Murdock scored second-half tries for Derby but Josh Bingham’s late penalty kick drifted wide.

On Saturday, it’s about making sure they’re on the front foot from the start.
