The North Bay Battalion parted with a player popular with his teammates and the fan base when Ihnat Pazii was dealt to the Flint Firebirds last Friday afternoon. They gave up the import centre and a fourth draft pick to acquire Kaden Pitre. Article content
Pitre is also a centre and had 53 points for Flint last year. Article content Article content
This season, playing 12 games, the Newmarket native scored 5 goals and added a pair of assists.
Pitre was selected in the sixth round of the 2024 National Hockey League Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Head coach Ryan Oulahen is very happy with what Pitre brings to the table.
