Child dies after being hit by pickup truck while riding bike on Thanksgiving Day

HOUSTON, Texas – A child is dead after police say he was hit by a pickup truck on Thanksgiving Day.

The incident happened in the 5227 block of Willow Glen Drive around 11:35 a.m.

When police arrived, they said the child was riding a bike when hit by the truck. The driver stayed on the scene.

It’s not clear if the driver will face charges.
