WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - There is arguably no greater sports tradition in the country than football teams battling their biggest rivals on Thanksgiving Day. Western Mass News sat on the sideline while the West Side Terriers challenged the Agawam Brownies for their 100th meeting on Thanksgiving morning.

The West Side Terriers and Agawam Brownies have been meeting on the gridiron since 1924, making it the longest football rivalry in western Mass, but their 100th meeting might have been the best game yet, and it just so happened to fall on Thanksgiving.
