Englishman came up with two crucial saves early doors to prevent Braga's Ricardo Horta from opening the scoring. As the game went on, the importance of those stops only increased. After them, however, Butland was rarely called into action, and even when he was, he could do little to prevent Gabri Martinez's leveller.
James Tavernier - 7/10
Rangers skipper looked to get forward as usual and whipped a dangerous corner into the box at the end of the first half that won his side a penalty kick for handball.
