WHITEFORD, Md. —
Scouts who got to soak up the sun before it got cold at Camp Saffran in Whiteford are receiving special recognition from the Baltimore Ravens.
The Baltimore Area Council, Scouting America held its Fall Cub Family Weekend in the first weekend of November, offering so much for families to try, including art, songs and skits, a hay ride and more.
"They just kind of get a taste of it without the formal aspects of camping or having a more rigorous schedule. They just kind of get to enjoy outdoors in the fall-time weather," said Brooke Edwards, a Scout mom.
"There's a lot of different things that you can do," said Amee Jackson, 10.
