PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (WCAX) - Thousands of people turned out for the annual Thanksgiving dinner hosted by several North Country organizations.
“It’s chaos with a really great feeling to it, I guess is the best way to put it,” said Michael Carpenter, the founder and president of Meaningful Habits Around Behavior , or MHAB, an organization that provides resources to New Yorkers in recovery.
Inside MHAB’s Life Skills Campus in Plattsburgh, hundreds of volunteers whipped together enough food for nearly 3,000 meals on Thanksgiving.
