WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - The holidays away from home; that’s what many men and women in the military are experiencing this Thanksgiving. KAKE visited the local Air Force base to learn how leadership is making a difference in Airmen’s lives, one piece of pie at a time.

On Thursday, some Commanders at McConnell Air Force Base not only served their country, but they served their fellow Airmen a special holiday meal.
