One person is dead after a crash involving a tractor-trailer on Interstate 95 in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, early on Thanksgiving.

State police say troopers responded around 2:30 a.m. Thursday to the multi-vehicle crash on I-95 south at mile marker 8, where the driver of the motor vehicle was found unresponsive at the scene and died from their injuries.

"We offer our condolences to their family and loved ones," state police said in a statement, adding that no information was immediately available about the driver's identity.

Police didn't say if the tractor-trailer was hurt in the crash at all.

Further details about the incident weren't provided. An investigation is ongoing.
