GLENOLDEN — The only time Ridley’s Kevin Farley gets a break is on extra points. Other than that, he’s on the field: Offense, defense, kick returns and punts.
Anyone who took in Thursday’s annual Thanksgiving Day clash between the Green Raiders and Interboro were reminded of that fact on a number of occasions.
The public address announcer called Farley’s name quite often as Ridley rolled to a 32-0 victory over the Bucs at the South Avenue Athletic Complex.
The junior tight end/linebacker caught a touchdown pass and had an interception as the Green Raiders (9-3) posted their second straight shutout in the rivalry game to extend their winning streak in the series to five games and 10 of the last 11. Ridley leads the series 43-13.
“The turkey is going to taste good,” Farley said.
