SHREVEPORT, La. - The popular holiday fireworks event Rockets Over the Red , originally scheduled for this weekend, has been postponed due to a poor weather forecast.

Organizers announced that the event will now take place on Saturday, December 20, citing concerns over rain and high winds predicted for Saturday.

Attendees are encouraged to mark their calendars for the new date, when the fireworks display will light up the sky later this holiday season.
