Maryland basketball’s Vegas trip ends with a thud vs. No. 8 Alabama

Maryland men’s basketball’s swing through Las Vegas was more bust than boom.

Facing their second ranked opponent in as many nights, the Terps were no match for No. 8 Alabama, which overwhelmed them in many departments en route to a 105-72 rout in the teams’ third and final appearance Wednesday night at the Players Era Festival at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
