New footage has been released appearing to show the shooting of the West Virginia National Guard members in Washington D.C. on Wednesday.

The video clip, published by The Wall Street Journal , captures moments of the attack on Sarah Beckstrom, 20, and Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, 24, near the White House.

The footage - which appears to be live photos taken on an iPhone - shows one National Guardsman running down the street and suspect Rahmanullah Lakanwal holding a revolver. A guardsman can then be heard firing a gun several times.

In the final frame, fallen guardsmen can be seen lying on the ground. Newsweek could not independently verify the video.
