Andoni Iraola is hopeful that Antoine Semenyo will return from injury for Bournemouth ’s Premier League trip to Sunderland on Saturday.

The 25-year-old has been a pivotal figure in Bournemouth’s attack this season with six goals and three assists in 11 Premier League appearances so far.

Semenyo was forced off in Ghana’s 2-0 defeat to Japan during the international break due to an ankle injury and subsequently withdrew from the squad.

Last weekend, Semenyo missed Bournemouth’s 2-2 draw at home to West Ham but the winger has trained this week ahead of his side’s match away to Sunderland.
