Personal Independence Payment, or PIP, claimants will see their benefits rise by 3.8 per cent from April. The daily living part of PIP will rise to £76.70 a week and £114.60 a week from April 2026.

The mobility rate will increase to £30.30 and £80 from April 2026. It means claimants who claim both rates could be handed £194.60 a week - or £10,119 a year.

You can claim both the daily living and mobility parts of PIP, and you can be awarded one or both depending on your circumstances. Both parts can be paid at a standard or enhanced rate, determined by how your condition affects your ability to complete certain activities.
