The Winter Storm Warning is still in effect until Sunday at 10AM for southern counties and 7PM for northern counties. Heavy snowfall has made its way into Michiana and will become more widespread in the coming hours. This is the time when travel will become increasingly difficult with low visibility and messy/slushy roads. Try to avoid travel this evening if possible. Snowfall will begin to diminish overnight but lake effect snow showers will take over tomorrow morning. Snow fall amounts for most of the area are likely to range from 6-9"; however, northern Michiana counties are expected to exceed
