The 2025 Brooks Cross Country National Championships will feature five of New Jersey’s best girls cross-country runners competing for an individual title.

Competing in the Brooks Northeast Regional Championship race on Saturday at Franklin Park in Boston, Ocean Township’s Leah Starkey, West Windsor-Plainsboro North’s Allison Lee and Hunterdon Central’s Molly Domurat all automatically advanced to the national championship race, which will be held in San Diego on Dec. 13.

The top 10 runners from each region automatically qualify for the national meet.

The Brooks Cross-Country Nationals is considered to be a direct replacement of the Foot Locker National Championships, which decided to permanently shut down its championship series in August.
