Colo. (KKTV) - Law enforcement is responding after multiple crashes closed the road along a busy Colorado interstate Sunday.
According to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), mountain conditions on the I-70 corridor are icy, and there is low visibility.
CSP said a crash near milepost 119 was received at 11:42 a.m., and first responders found a pile-up consisting of approximately 30 vehicles.
CSP and the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office are working on clearing the road. There is currently no estimated time for the road to reopen at milepost 119.
Reports for a pile-up consisting of 20 involved vehicles near milepost 130 were received at 11:28 a.m. CSP and the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office are working on reopening the road.
