As U.S. and Ukrainian negotiators are working towards a peace deal in the now three-year-long conflict in Ukraine, protesters in Calgary said they disagree with the proposed peace plan by the U.S. government.

On Sunday, Bloomberg reported that American and Ukrainian negotiators had productive conversations about a framework for a peace deal, as President Donald Trump continues to work towards one.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Ukrainian officials, led by National Security and Defence Council Secretary Rustem Umerov, in Hallandale Beach, north of Miami, with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

This is before Witkoff heads to Russia to lead a U.S. delegation this week.
