Neon Genesis Evangelion is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary, so naturally, a new illustration celebrating the series' iconic EVA pilots was released. While Evangelion has always had an air of style to it, the new character designs add a thoroughly modern flair that looks great and fits the series' cast perfectly.

The new artwork, posted to the official Evangelion: 30th Anniversary X account , depicts Kaworu, Rei, Shinji, Asuka, and Mari jumping in celebration of the 30th anniversary. The artwork was created by Shûichi Iseki, the animation director for Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 .
