GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - The Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of two retired staff members, according to social posts.
The sheriff’s office announced the death of former Dispatcher Linda Sloat and former Corrections Deputy Eric Robinson on Sunday evening.
Deputies wrote that Linda Sloat worked as a dispatcher until her retirement and said she was a “voice of calm.”
They remembered her as a “hardworking and a loyal employee whose personality and infectious smile would brighten up any room.”

On the same day, GCSO also announced the death of former Corrections Deputy Eric “Cadillac” Robinson . The sheriff’s office said Robinson worked at GCSO for many years.
According to GCSO, Robinson was the son of former Captain E.L. Robinson
