Dozens of flood alerts issued across Wales as the country braces for heavy rain

Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has issued 38 flood alerts throughout Wales with the weather across the country expected to worsen tonight and tomorrow. A rare amber rain warning has been put in place as heavy downpours are expected across many areas.

Torrential rain and probable flooding is forecast as the amber Met Office warning comes into force. Heavy rain is likely to bring some disruption and probable flooding to parts of Wales throughout Monday, December 1. The warnings from NRW means flooding is possible in the area it lists and people should be prepared.
