Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has made a huge announcement on his future this Sunday, having revealed he’s set to leave his current post to take over at LSU.

Kiffin had been linked with the Tigers’ vacancy since Brian Kelly was fired weeks ago. With the school having made the termination official with a $54 million buyout, Kiffin is now set to step in.

The 50-year-old, thought to be under immense pressure amid a crisis in Mississippi, announced his decision via social media on Sunday afternoon.

“After a lot of prayer and time spent with family, I made the difficult decision to accept the head coaching position at LSU,” he wrote in a tweet.
