The teen who is accused of shooting another teen with a stolen gun and hiding from law enforcement for a few days has pleaded guilty to one of the charges against him.
A witness told investigators with the Sheriff’s Office that Kamren Crousore and the victim had gotten into an argument over a couple of stolen guns, and that Crousore shot the 19-year-old in the stomach after the first shot, aimed right at the 19-year-old’s head, missed.
Crousore, 19, was originally charged with attempted second-degree murder, attempted manslaughter and aggravated assault — all with a firearm enhancement — as well as reckless endangering and unlawful contact. The maximum sentence he was facing was life in prison plus 72 years.
