SEATTLE — It's not easy playing quarterback in the NFL, and undrafted rookie Max Brosmer got his "Welcome to the NFL" moment late in the first half when he threw an ill-advised underhand pass while being tackled on fourth down.
Given the down, taking a shot wasn't egregious; however, doing it while getting pulled down with no chance for a completion was, and it turned into a pick-six the other way that gave Seattle a 10-0 lead.
"It's my responsibility to take care of the football, and not my responsibility to try and make something happen when it's not there," said Brosmer. "I've got to do a better job of keeping the ball in our hands and getting ready for the next drive."
It was the second time this season a Minnesota Vikings quarterback threw a pick-six in their first career start
