PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - A man was arrested after an alleged domestic disturbance on Sunday morning in Plainfield.

The man was identified as Joshua Young, 36, from Plainfield.

According to police, the victim and a child had fled the area of the physical assault.

Upon further investigation, police said Young had physically assaulted the victim.

Young was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, second degree assault, second degree strangulation, second degree reckless endangerment, and risk of injury to a minor.

He was held on a $100,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
