MOSES LAKE, Wash. – Moses Lake School District announced that schools will be closed on Monday, December 1, 2025, as the district and the Moses Lake Education Association have yet to reach an agreement. Negotiations will continue through the evening, with hopes of resolving the situation soon.
For families affected by the closure, the district will provide updates daily at 4 p.m. through ParentSquare, the district website, social media, and email. These updates will cover mediation progress, school operations, and available resources.
During the closure, all district facilities will be closed to students and visitors. However, students needing essential items can visit their school's main office on December 1 and 2 during regular hours. Community events may still proceed as scheduled.
